Indian IT firm HCLTech today said that it has signed a multi-year strategic partnership with OpenAI to deploy the latter’s AI models across its services and platforms.

The company plans to embed OpenAI’s technology into its proprietary offerings and client solutions to modernise business processes and enhance customer and employee experiences.

“This collaboration will enable HCLTech’s clients to leverage OpenAI’s industry-leading AI products portfolio alongside HCLTech’s foundational

and applied AI offerings for rapid and scaled GenAI deployment,” HCLTech said in a statement on Monday.

The integration aims to help clients upgrade processes, improve customer and employee experiences, and drive growth, covering everything from AI readiness to deployment, governance, and change management.

“This collaboration underscores our commitment to empowering Global 2000 enterprises with transformative AI solutions,” Vijay Guntur, Global Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, said in a statement.

Additionally, HCLTech will also integrate OpenAI’s models into its platforms and services, including AI Force, AI Foundry, AI Engineering, and industry-focused AI tools.
