Samsung One UI 7 Update: South Korean tech giant Samsung is all set to roll out its much-anticipated One UI 7 update, based on Android 15.
As per news reports and leaks, the first wave of the update is expected to hit customers phones in mid-April 2025. According to leaked information, the update will initially be available for flagship models such as the Galaxy S24 series before gradually expanding to older devices in a phased approach.
The full deployment is projected to conclude by the end of May, ensuring a comprehensive reach across Samsung’s user base.
Reports also suggest that the rollout will officially commence on April 18, 2025, with the latest flagship models, including the Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, and S24 FE, as well as the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6.
The second phase, set for April 25, will extend the update to the Galaxy S23 lineup, including the S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra, alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, and Galaxy A54.
By mid-May, Samsung plans to bring the update to an even wider range of devices, including the Galaxy S23 FE, the S22 series, and mid-range models such as the A34, A33, and A53.
The final stage, slated for May 23, will incorporate older flagship models like the Galaxy S21 series and Samsung’s third-generation foldable devices, the Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3.
Meanwhile, Samsung has already begun beta testing One UI 7 on its foldable phones. If industry insiders reports leaks are to be believed, these beta versions of the update have already been spotted on Samsung’s internal servers for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.
Additionally, Samsung’s One UI Beta Program forum has listed these models, hinting at an imminent beta rollout.
The One UI 7 update promises a range of refinements aimed at enhancing user experience, particularly for Samsung’s foldable devices. Among the expected improvements are better multitasking capabilities for increased productivity, a smoother and more intuitive navigation experience, better UI/UX, and performance optimisations which are mainly designed to improve battery life and overall device efficiency.
