Balaji Telefilms said on Tuesday that it has launched ‘Kutingg’, a family-friendly digital platform. It also noted that the app will provide vertical video formats alongside traditional storytelling styles for a mobile-first audience.
In June, streaming giant Netflix and production house Balaji Telefilms announced a long-term creative partnership, which would deepen their engagement in the Indian content space and create a pipeline of original films and series spanning multiple genres.
The agreement marks one of Netflix India’s most significant alliances with a domestic production house, underscoring its continued bet on homegrown storytelling.
