What is the Odisha Sovereign AI Park?
The Odisha Sovereign AI Park is a state-backed AI ecosystem being developed by the Government of Odisha in partnership with Sarvam AI. At its core is a planned 50 MW AI-optimised compute facility that is designed to serve as both Odisha’s AI public utility and a sovereign AI compute hub for the country.
According to Sarvam AI, the infrastructure will support AI applications across sectors such as mining, heavy industries and skilling, including computer vision systems for industrial safety and Odia-to-English voice tools to improve workforce readiness. Beyond state use cases, the facility is intended to provide production-grade AI compute capacity for other states and national platforms.
