India's largest airline, IndiGo, has reported a 62% rise in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter (Q4) of the financial year 2024-25 at ₹3,067.5 crore compared to ₹1,894.8 crore in the year-ago period, primarily due to strong demand for air travel.
The company's consolidated revenue for the said period grew 24% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹22,151.9 crore, up from ₹17,825.3 crore in the year-ago period.
For the financial year 2024-25, IndiGo's net profit fell to ₹7,258.4 crore from ₹8,172.5 crore in the previous year, an 11% drop YoY. IndiGo's revenue from operations for FY25 rose 17% to ₹80,802.9 crore compared to ₹68,902.9 crore in the previous year, the exchange filing shows.

IndiGo has announced a dividend of ₹10 per share, subject to shareholder approval at the upcoming AGM.
The company says it has been awarded its debut international investment-grade credit rating by Moody’s, a credit rating agency.
IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers says the company's sustained performance is the result of record passenger volumes, operational efficiencies, agility, and commitment demonstrated by IndiGo employees. "We will continue to focus on cost leadership and further internationalisation with the start of our European operations. I am very pleased that the trust and continued support of our shareholders during the challenging COVID period and beyond can now be rewarded with a recommended dividend of ₹10 per share."
The company's total income for the quarter ended March 2025 was ₹23,097.5 crore, an increase of 24.8% over the same period last year. For the quarter, itd passenger ticket revenues were ₹19,567.3 crore, an increase of 25.4%, and ancillary revenues were up 25.2% at ₹2,152.5 crore.
As of March 31, 2025, IndiGo had a total cash balance of ₹48,170.5 crore, comprising ₹33,153.1 crore of free cash and ₹15,017.4 crore of restricted cash.
The capitalised operating lease liability was ₹479,801 million. The total debt (including the capitalised operating lease liability) stood at ₹66,809.8 crore.
As of March 31, 2025, IndiGo claims to have a fleet of 434 aircraft, including 40 A320 CEOs (14 damp lease), 195 A320 NEOs, 135 A321 NEOs, 48 ATRs, 3 A321 freighters, 3 B777s (damp lease), 9 B737s (damp lease), and 1 B787 (damp lease). This is a net decrease of 3 passenger aircraft during the quarter.
IndiGo said it operated at a peak of 2,304 daily flights during the quarter, including non-scheduled flights. The company provided scheduled services to 91 domestic destinations and 40 international destinations in Q4 FY25. In terms of performance, IndiGo had an on-time performance of 81.3% at four key metros and a flight cancellation rate of 0.8%.
