Omaxe entered Madhya Pradesh in 2005 with its Omaxe City-1 township in Indore and currently holds a land bank of around 1,170 acres across Indore, Ujjain, and Ratlam. In Indore, it is developing Omaxe City-1 (330 acres), Omaxe City-2 (88.4 acres), Omaxe Hills (90 acres), Omaxe Pratham (50 acres), and the new 450-acre project. In Ujjain, the company has Omaxe City-1 (75 acres) and two proposed joint ventures—City-2 and City-3—each on 50 acres. In Ratlam, it is developing a 35-acre township.
The announcement comes amid rapid infrastructure growth in Madhya Pradesh. Indore recently became the first city in the state to launch metro rail services. Road and rail upgrades are also underway ahead of the 2028 Simhastha, including the redevelopment of Indore station, new tracks near Ujjain, and improved connectivity via the Indore-Ujjain expressway and Indore-Khandwa route.
Omaxe has delivered 15 projects in Madhya Pradesh and plans to complete two more in the upcoming quarter. The company recently announced a new integrated township in Amritsar as part of its broader expansion strategy.
