Billionaire Mukesh Ambai-led Reliance Industries (RIL) had acquired the homegrown iconic soft drink brand Campa from Delhi-based Pure Drinks Group in 2023. Campa Cola was a market leader in the Indian soft drink market in the 1970s and 1980s in most regions of India until foreign brands Pepsi and Coca-Cola entered the domestic market in 1990s. Reliance Consumer in April roped in actor Ram Charan as the new face of Campa alongside the launch of a new marketing campaign, "Campa Wali Zidd".

The company in January this year announced the acquisition of Maharashtra-based Sil Food India. RCPL aims to bring new life to SIL Foods’ storied brand and build on its heritage, leveraging its scale, tech capabilities, and deep understanding of the Indian consumer.
