Dollar Industries was founded in 1972-73 by Dindayal Gupta as Bhawani Textiles. In 2008, it rebranded and transitioned into Dollar Industries Limited. The company is a hosiery and knitwear brand, contributing about 15% of the market share in India. It provides innerwear, thermal wear, sleepwear, athleisure, socks, handkerchiefs, rain guards, bodysuits, and more. In addition to presence in all 29 Indian states, Dollar Industries can be found in countries in the Middle East, such as Qatar, Jordan, the UAE, Oman, and more. Its manufacturing facility in Tirupur processes around 13.5 tonnes every day while maintaining its 1000 kl zero liquid discharge policy and using solar energy to reduce CO2 emissions by 9000 kgs every day. Under the leadership of Vinod Kumar Gupta and Binay Kumar Gupta, Dollar was able to generate an annual revenue of ₹1398.57 cr in FY 22-23, out of which ₹81.86 cr were contributed by the exports.
