Madras Fertilizers Limited (MFL), established on December 8, 1966, is a Government of India (GOI) enterprise, initially formed as a joint venture between GOI and AMOCO India Incorporated (U.S.A.) under the Fertilizer Formation Agreement. The company is headquartered in Madras (Chennai), Tamil Nadu, and is led by Shri Manoj Kumar Jain, Chairman & Managing Director.MFL specializes in the manufacture of Ammonia, Urea, Complex Fertilizers, and Biofertilizers. It markets its products under the brand name VIJAY, serving farmers across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, the Union Territory of Pondicherry, and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The company operates from a 329-acre facility in Manali, located 20 km north of Chennai.
