Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today be visiting Arunachal Pradesh and Tripura. During his state visit, PM Modi will unveil development projects worth over ₹5,100 crore.

PM Modi will first reach Itanagar In Arunachal Pradesh, and then

visit Tawang.

There he will lay the foundation stone of two hydropower projects worth over ₹3,700 crore namely Heo Hydro of 240 MW capacity, and Tato-I Hydro of 186 MW capacity Siyom sub-basin.

At Tawang, he will also attend the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Convention Centre with a capacity for 1,500.

Across the two cities, he will also announce the launch of various infrastructure projects worth ₹1,290 crore across connectivity, health, fire safety, and women’s hostels.

As GST 2.0 is set to be in effect from today, he will interact with taxpayers, traders, and industry on Monday.

He will then visit Tripura’s Matabari, Gomati districts where he will perform pooja and inaugurate the redeveloped Mata Tripura Sundari Temple Complex under the PRASAD scheme.

Situated in Udaipur town of Tripura’s Gomati district, the Mata Sundari temple is one of the ancient 51 Shakti Peethas.

The redevelopment project includes new pathways, entrances, a three-storied complex with stalls, meditation hall, guest facilities, and improved infrastructure.
