Streaming platform JioHotstar has forayed into fashion-driven business entertainment with Pitch to Get Rich, a first-of-its-kind reality series that blends Bollywood glamour with entrepreneurial ambition. Produced by the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF) and Dharmatic Entertainment, the show will stream exclusively on JioHotstar from October 20, 2025.
The platform’s latest original series brings together Bollywood heavyweights Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, and Malaika Arora — not just as judges but as investors — alongside a line-up of business leaders including Naveen Jindal, Ravi Jaipuria, Darpan Sanghvi, and Gaurav Dalmia. The show features an investment pool of ₹40 crore earmarked for emerging fashion ventures.
At a launch event in Mumbai, JioHotstar executives described the series as part of the platform’s strategy to expand into content that connects entertainment with enterprise. “It’s about showcasing a new India — creative, confident, and willing to back its own ideas,” said Sushant Sreeram, Head of SVOD & CMO, JioStar.
The event also featured 14 early-stage fashion founders — including Cloud Tailor, Dmodot, House of Armuse, and Philocaly — who presented their brands through a short runway showcase. The participants will compete for funding and mentorship during the course of the show.
“Entrepreneurship is about courage — the courage to take risks and reinvent,” said Akshay Kumar, adding that the show celebrates India’s Make in India vision. Karan Johar described the series as “a space where creativity meets commerce.”

As India’s growth story gains momentum and the number of billionaires rises, the country’s luxury market is seeing a boom like never before, with the taste for luxury moving beyond the metros. From high-end watches and jewellery to lavish residences and luxurious holidays, Indians are splurging like never before. Storied luxury brands are rushing in to satiate this demand, often roping in Indian celebs as ambassadors.
For JioHotstar, Pitch to Get Rich signals a growing interest in non-fiction content that goes beyond entertainment — tapping into India’s booming startup ecosystem and rising youth entrepreneurship.
Guest appearances by Saif Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, and Ronnie Screwvala are also expected to add star power, but the show’s larger ambition lies in transforming fashion entrepreneurship into mainstream entertainment.
