Rooted in Tarun Tahiliani’s enduring design philosophy, the Autumn Winter 2026 collection reimagined the richness of Indian textiles, embroidery and artisanal craftsmanship through a distinctly contemporary lens. At its core was a considered balance of structure and fluidity, expressed through sculptural corsetry, weightless pre-draped sarees, architectural lehengas, sharply tailored jumpsuits and elevated separates.

The collection unfolded through a series of distinct artistic narratives, drawing from the regal opulence of Byzantium, the romantic elegance of Rococo florals, the cultural richness of Pichwai and Zubeida, the luminous sparkle of Crystal Relic, the painterly softness of Impressionism and the refined delicacy of Chantilly Lace. Together, these stories created a versatile wardrobe that moved seamlessly across festive occasions, destination celebrations and modern evening dressing.

“The new BMW 7 Series was an incredible source of inspiration for this collection. Its sculptural presence, clean lines and sense of precision immediately resonated with the way I approach fashion,” Tahiliani said. “I was particularly drawn to the illuminated grille and crystal headlights, and the play of light and detail they create. There is a similar language in couture, where structure, craftsmanship and the smallest details come together to create something that feels powerful yet understated.”

Corsetry continued to be a defining element of the Tarun Tahiliani design language, taking on new forms across the collection through sculptural precision beneath fluid drapes and layered constructions. Intricate hand embroidery, crystal embellishments, metallic textures, floral appliqués and heritage weaves were balanced with featherlight fabrics, reflecting the designer’s approach to couture that placed equal emphasis on craftsmanship, comfort and ease.

“Dedication leads to craft at its finest and the new BMW 7 Series range is the ultimate proof of this commitment. Tarun Tahiliani brings together two distinct worlds united by a shared pursuit of excellence, innovation and craftsmanship,” said Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India.

Designed for women who embraced individuality with confidence, Autumn Winter 2026 continued Tahiliani’s exploration of India Modern, where centuries-old craftsmanship was not preserved as nostalgia but continually reimagined through innovation, contemporary silhouettes and uncompromising artistry.
