One of the major OTT releases this week is Dupahiya Season 2, which begins streaming on Amazon Prime Video on October 1. The comedy-drama returns to the fictional village of Dhadakpur, where the installation of a mobile tower on Banwari's land triggers rumours and superstition among residents. The series stars Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Sparsh Shrivastava and Bhuvan Arora, among others.
Another release to watch is Pooja Meri Jaan, which premieres on ZEE5 on October 2. Starring Mrunal Thakur, Huma Qureshi, Vikram Singh Chauhan and Vijay Raaz, the crime thriller follows Pooja, who is blamed for the death of her friend Aniket after rejecting his romantic advances. As Sana, a lawyer and friend to both, is drawn into the case, the film explores rejection, obsession, consent and the consequences of obsessive relationships.
For viewers looking for a romantic comedy, #Love arrives on Netflix on October 2. The Tamil series stars Aishwarya Lekshmi and Arjun Das as Tara and Matthew, rival dating-app founders with contrasting views on relationships.
