Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is recovering and is likely to be discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) tomorrow. Sources said her recovery is on track, and she is expected to be discharged from AIIMS tomorrow.
The minister was admitted to AIIMS on Monday, with symptoms of viral fever. The 63-year-old Union minister was taken to the hospital around 12 noon and was admitted to a private ward of the hospital.
Post hospitalisation yesterday, official sources confirmed to Fortune India that FM Sitharaman was taken to AIIMS, while also assuring that nothing is serious and she is fine.
Sources, meanwhile, said the FM was suffering with symptoms of viral fever and is recovering.
