Nirmala Sitharaman presented the 2021 Union Budget today, February 1. Riding on a wave of expectations, from sectors across the India economy, she did deliver a Budget which seems to have largely met industry's expectations. But it also had a lot to unpack. Coming as it did on the heels of the Covid-19 pandemic and the devastation it had unleashed on the Indian economy, the Budget had a strong focus on healthcare and self-reliance.
