Her clout keeps growing with each passing year. After cochairing the World Economic Forum at Davos in 2018, last October she co-chaired the financial inclusion committee at the Women 20 Summit, a part of the G20 Summit. “This is significant since rural women and issues around their financial inclusion and entrepreneurship are now being recognised at a global level,” she says. Back home, she is a part of the financial inclusion committee formed by the Reserve Bank of India to strategise for the next five years.
