Actor, producer, investor, entrepreneur, brand ambassador, philanthropist, and mother—Deepika Padukone dons many hats. A national-level badminton player-turned-model-and-actor, many of her films rank among the highest grossing of all time. As producer, she has backed films such as Chhapaak and ’83 under her banner KA Productions. Padukone is a savvy investor. KA Enterprises, her family office, has invested in several startups including Epigamia, BluSmart, Atomberg Technologies, Furlenco, and Bellatrix. Plus, she owns DPKA Universal Consumer Ventures, under which premium skincare range 82°E was launched in November 2022. She is also the face of several Indian and international luxury brand campaigns including Cartier, Louis Vuitton, L’Oreal Paris, Hilton and Qatar Airways. Financial advisory firm Kroll pegged her brand value at $96 million in 2023. She is also actively involved in The Live Love Laugh Foundation, a non-profit she launched to give hope to those suffering from stress, anxiety and depression. In fact, she received the prestigious Crystal Award in 2020 at the World Economic Forum in Davos for Leadership in Raising Mental Health Awareness. Doing multiple things with aplomb, this new mother seems in no mood to slow down.
