Tata Power Company, established in 1911, is one of India’s largest integrated power utilities and a key part of the Tata Group, founded by Jamshedji Tata. The company is headquartered in Mumbai. Tata Power operates across the entire power value chain, from generation to distribution, transmission, trading, storage solutions, and solar manufacturing. The company is headed by CEO Praveer Sinha.With a diversified portfolio of 14,707 MW, Tata Power has a strong focus on clean and green energy, including 6,707 MW of renewable energy projects (including those in the pipeline). The company serves 13 million distribution customers and operates 7,049 Ckms of transmission capacity.Tata Power is also a leader in India's electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, with 5,600 public EV charging points across the country. Its 4,350 MW solar asset portfolio includes large-scale projects, rooftop solar solutions, and solar cells and module manufacturing.
