Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi jointly inaugurated Maruti Suzuki's ₹35,000-crore manufacturing facility at Kharkhoda, Haryana, during the India-Japan Economic Forum. The plant is expected to create over 21,000 direct jobs and eventually add an annual production capacity of 10 lakh vehicles, further strengthening the India-Japan industrial partnership.
