Vijay Sharma’s (in pic) LinkedIn profile says he failed in chemistry. It made little difference. He went on to study engineering at BITS Pilani, and has been successfully running Belong, a recruitment startup he co-founded with three others, since 2014. The former marketing head of Practo and co-founder of telephony platform Exotel says the company has a client list that includes Cisco, Boeing, Accenture, Deloitte, Reliance Jio, Amazon, Adobe, and Tesco. It has raised $15 million from Sequoia Capital, Matrix Partners, and Blume Ventures.
