India's lone lady hotelier pushed the Park brand's profitability this year by raising occupancy to 90%, a 15% rise. Key accounts for the chain include the Ministry of Defence, and the crews of Go Air, Spicejet, Indigo, and Air Costa. Last year, Park signed on Amazon, PwC, and EY. Paul also signed a management contract for a Mumbai hotel, which is set to begin operations in January 2017. In an unusual move, Paul is selling compilations of the music played in her hotels, as well as branded teas at Flury’s, her Kolkata-based confectionery. Paul is a member of the Harvard Business School's India advisory board and chairperson of the South Asia Women's Fund.
