French automaker Citroën today launched the New Aircross X model in India. The Aircross X model is the company’s latest addition to its X-Series of SUV cars, sitting between the recently launched New Basalt X and New C3X models.

The Aircross X offers a premium cabin with a soft-touch dashboard, leatherette seats, gold accents, and ambient lighting. The latest model will also feature flexible seating configurations for 5 or 7 passengers and Citroën Advanced Comfort suspension for a smooth ride.

The company also introduced CARA, its multilingual in-car assistant which supports 52 languages. The company claims that CARA can control vehicle functions like tyre pressure, lights, and door locks, connect to music, calls, reminders, navigation, and provide safety alerts including voice SOS, crash alerts, and emergency assistance. The new Aircross X model’s premium variant of MAX Automatic is also set to come with in-built CARA.

The car has a high-strength body, and comes with six airbags, ESP, Hill Hold, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, LED projector headlamps, fog lamps, DRLs, and additional features like Speed Limiter and Auto IRVM, totalling over 40 active and passive safety features.

The SUV maintains its bold Aircross design with a strong stance, signature DRLs, and practical boot space. It offers two engine options (1.2L NA and 1.2L Turbo) with manual and automatic transmissions, an ICE and CNG options.

Bookings for the latest Citroen Aircross X are open from today. The models start at ₹8.29 lakh as an introductory price, rising up to ₹13.49 lakh for the MAX 1.2P Turbo variant.
