The partnership aims to develop mixed-use, digital, and industrial infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh, aligning RMZ’s platform-led, long-horizon investment approach with the state government’s vision for technology-driven and regionally balanced growth.

RMZ, one of Asia’s leading privately owned alternative asset owners and operators, and the Andhra Pradesh government on Wednesday announced a strategic investment partnership at the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos to facilitate long-term global investments of up to $10 billion across the state.
The partnership aims to develop mixed-use, digital, and industrial infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh, aligning RMZ’s platform-led, long-horizon investment approach with the state government’s vision for technology-driven and regionally balanced growth. The proposed investments are expected to be deployed over the next five to six years.
According to the announcement, the collaboration supports Andhra Pradesh’s plan to position Visakhapatnam as a next-generation mixed-use and digital infrastructure hub while also accelerating industrial and logistics-led development in the Rayalaseema region to promote employment generation and balanced regional development.
RMZ will develop a Global Capability Centre at the Kapuluppada Phase-1 IT Park in Visakhapatnam. The project is planned with a potential built-up area of up to 10 million square feet spread across around 50 acres and is aimed at attracting global enterprises and strengthening the city’s GCC ecosystem.
RMZ also plans to establish a hyperscale data centre cluster in the Visakhapatnam region, with a targeted capacity of up to 1 gigawatt. The data centre campus will be developed in phases and is expected to require a land parcel of 500–700 acres. The proposed platform will support next-generation digital and artificial intelligence workloads, with a strong focus on sustainability and the integration of green power.
In the Rayalaseema region, RMZ is set to develop an industrial and logistics park at Tekulodu over nearly 1,000 acres. The project will anchor manufacturing, warehousing and logistics activities in the region, creating a new industrial base and supporting local employment.
Nara Lokesh, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics and Communications and Human Resources Development, said Andhra Pradesh has been at the forefront of technological advancement and the expansion of Global Capability Centres in India. “By partnering with a credible and trustworthy organisation such as RMZ, we are reinforcing our ability to attract global enterprises, scale high-quality employment and sustain long-term technology-led growth across key regions of the state,” he said.
Manoj Menda, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at RMZ, said Andhra Pradesh is emerging as a compelling destination for next-generation digital and industrial infrastructure. Deepak Chhabria, President, RMZ Infrastructure, said the partnership reaffirms the Andhra Pradesh government’s trust in RMZ and builds on the company’s long-standing presence in the state, adding that RMZ will bring its experience in building and operating mission-critical real asset platforms to support the state’s vision for digital infrastructure, industrial growth, and employment generation.
