IFQM Symposium 2026 to bring 300+ CEOs to New Delhi to drive quality, innovation

The Indian Foundation for Quality Management (IFQM) will host the third edition of its National IFQM Symposium on October 5–6, 2026 at Taj Palace, New Delhi, bringing together more than 300 CEOs and CXOs, policymakers, global quality experts and academia to discuss how India can strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and build a credible global presence.

Themed “Quality, Innovation and Excellence — Be the Force Multiplier”, the two-day symposium will feature more than 25 sessions, including keynotes, fireside conversations, sectoral discussions and thematic tracks focused on automotive, engineering, aerospace, electronics, textiles, leather and AI in manufacturing.

The 2026 edition will introduce dedicated discussions on Pharma and Life Sciences and Infrastructure, expanding the forum’s sectoral focus.

The Pharma and Life Sciences track will examine how India can move beyond its traditional strength in generics and strengthen its position in innovative medicines. The session will feature Dilip Sanghvi, Founder and Managing Director of Sun Pharmaceuticals; Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Executive Chairperson of Biocon Group; and Glenn Saldanha, Chairman and Managing Director of Glenmark.

The infrastructure track, being introduced for the first time, will focus on reimagining India's infrastructure for global leadership. The discussion will be led by S.N. Subrahmanyan, Chairman and Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro.

The symposium will also feature six global keynote speakers, including EuiSung (Ernie) Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Quality at Hyundai Motor Group; Dr Masahiko Mori, President of DMG MORI; Stefan Grosch, Global Board Member of Robert Bosch GmbH; Yugo Miyamoto of Kaizen Saudi Arabia, Abdul Latif Jameel Company; Akinori Onodera, President of Earth Brain, a JV of Komatsu Group; and China expert, author and journalist Frank Sieren.

The event will also bring together senior industry leaders including N. Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons; TV Narendran, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Steel; Dr Randhir Thakur, CEO and Managing Director of Tata Electronics; K.N. Radhakrishnan, Director and CEO of TVS Motor Company; Salil Gupte, President of Boeing India and South Asia; and Hari Marar, Managing Director and CEO of Bangalore International Airport.
