Airline to connect the new airport with more than 16 domestic destinations, strengthening connectivity across Delhi-NCR and western Uttar Pradesh

IndiGo today commenced flight operations from the newly inaugurated Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar, becoming the first airline to operate services from the National Capital Region's newest airport.
The airline's first flight arrived at the airport from Lucknow on Monday morning, while the inaugural departure from NIA was to Bengaluru shortly afterwards.
With the launch of services from Noida International Airport, IndiGo said it will directly connect the airport to more than 16 destinations across the country. The carrier added that the new operations will also enable one-stop connectivity across 14 city pairs, including routes such as Amritsar-Jodhpur, Bareilly-Bhopal, Bareilly-Jaipur, Bareilly-Jodhpur, Dharamshala-Jodhpur, Chandigarh-Bareilly, Chandigarh-Kishangarh, Chandigarh-Pantnagar, Jammu-Jodhpur and Jaipur-Dharamshala.
The airline said these connections are expected to improve access between Tier II and Tier III cities and major metropolitan centres, offering passengers additional travel options across its domestic network.
"Opening of the Noida International Airport marks a new chapter in India's aviation story. Delhi NCR now joins a select group of global megacities served by multiple airports. For IndiGo, the privilege of being the launch carrier at NIA is more than a commercial milestone; it is a commitment to western Uttar Pradesh, to the broader Delhi NCR, and the millions of travellers for whom this gateway opens new possibilities. We are proud to be here from day one," said Aloke Singh, Chief Strategy Officer, IndiGo.
Christoph Schnellmann, Vice Chairman of Noida International Airport, said, "Welcoming IndiGo's first flights marks the beginning of a new chapter for Noida International Airport. As our launch carrier, IndiGo will connect NIA to key destinations across India, providing passengers with greater choice and convenience from day one. We look forward to working closely with IndiGo to deliver a seamless travel experience and support the continued growth of aviation, trade and tourism across the region."
Located along the Yamuna Expressway, Noida International Airport is expected to emerge as a major aviation and logistics hub for the region. With the addition of NIA, IndiGo now operates from all three airports in the NCR region: Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad and Noida International Airport in Jewar.
According to the airline, scheduled services from the airport will connect cities including Hyderabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Jammu, Lucknow, Bhopal, Dehradun, Dharamshala, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Pantnagar, Bareilly and Kishangarh in phases beginning June 15 and extending through July.
