A cohort of 23 participants from cross-functional domains at Jindal Stainless will undergo sessions led by IIMB faculty.

Jindal Stainless has partnered with the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) to co-create a customised ‘Strategic Leadership Development Programme’ aimed at strengthening strategic thinking, business judgement and decision-making capabilities among its senior professionals.
The initiative is designed to prepare participants for key leadership roles within the organisation. The programme was inaugurated by Abhyuday Jindal, Managing Director of Jindal Stainless, in the presence of Sushil Baveja, Chief Human Resources Officer; Mukta Kulkarni, Dean (Programmes) and Professor at IIMB; Deepak Chandrashekar, Faculty (Strategy), IIMB; and Anand Pachouri, Head (Learning & Development), Jindal Stainless.
A cohort of 23 participants from cross-functional domains at Jindal Stainless will undergo sessions led by IIMB faculty. The curriculum, designed by the institute, will adopt an interactive and experiential pedagogy with a strong focus on real-world application.
Commenting on the collaboration, Abhyuday Jindal said the initiative would help build a strong leadership pipeline as the company scales up.
“As Jindal Stainless continues to scale and grow, preparing a leadership pipeline becomes imperative. Learning from the distinguished faculties at IIM Bangalore will enable our senior leaders to gain fresh perspectives, sharpen their strategic thinking, and navigate complex business environments with greater confidence. Initiatives such as this ensure that our leadership depth evolves in step with the organisation’s growth ambitions and global knowledge benchmarks. We are happy to partner with IIMB, known for its academic excellence, in advancing this effort,” Jindal said.
Mukta Kulkarni said the programme blends academic insight with practical business context to equip participants with skills required to manage a dynamic and evolving business landscape. She highlighted the role of industry-academia partnerships in developing future-ready leaders.
The programme will cover areas such as strategy, finance, macroeconomic trends, innovation, emerging technologies, personality development, and teamwork. It aims to build competencies in strategic execution, collaboration and leadership, particularly as participants transition from functional to enterprise-level roles.
Sushil Baveja said the initiative reflects Jindal Stainless’ focus on continuous leadership development. He added that the programme is structured to bring an external perspective to organisational growth and deepen participants’ understanding of business strategy, financial decision-making and organisational dynamics.
