The company said the service will be available to all car owners in the region, irrespective of whether they are customers of PB Wheels or hold roadside assistance cover as part of their motor insurance policies.

The move comes amid rising demand for roadside assistance services in India. According to industry estimates cited by the company, more than 50 lakh roadside assistance requests were raised in 2025. However, a significant number of vehicle owners still do not have access to such services through their insurance coverage.

PB Wheels said the initiative aims to address the gap between a vehicle breakdown and the availability of timely roadside assistance.

“We recognise the gap that exists between a car breakdown and getting roadside assistance. Car breakdowns are unpredictable and difficult to manage, particularly when immediate help is not easy to find,” said Sarbvir Singh, Joint Group CEO, PB Fintech.

“With this initiative, we want to make sure customers have dependable support during such moments and can get back on the road faster and with greater peace of mind, irrespective of whether the car owner has the coverage through their motor insurance,” he added.

The company said the service will operate round the clock through a dedicated helpline. “The breakdown service will be available to our customers 24/7, ensuring that there is support extended even at the middle of the night,” Singh said.

Under the programme, vehicle owners can access breakdown and accident-related towing support, flat tyre assistance, battery jump-start services, and emergency fuel delivery of up to five litres in the event of fuel-related breakdowns.

Customers can request assistance by calling the PB Wheels helpline. Depending on the nature of the issue, support teams will either carry out minor repairs on-site or arrange towing to a workshop chosen by the vehicle owner.

The launch reflects PB Wheels’ broader strategy of strengthening consumer-focused automotive services and expanding support offerings beyond insurance products. The company expects the initiative to provide greater convenience and reassurance to motorists facing unexpected vehicle emergencies across the National Capital Region.
