Management consulting firm Primus Partners has appointed Mohan Doifode as managing director of its Middle East practice, as the company looks to deepen its presence across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region amid rising demand for advisory and transformation services.

Based in Dubai and Riyadh, Doifode will lead Primus Strategic Management Consulting LLC's growth strategy in the region, strengthen client relationships and expand the firm's consulting offerings across strategy, transformation, public policy and management advisory services.

The appointment comes as the Middle East continues to emerge as a key growth market for consulting firms, driven by economic diversification initiatives, large-scale infrastructure investments and public-sector transformation programmes across countries such as Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Doifode brings more than 25 years of experience in strategy, management consulting and business transformation across India and the Middle East. Before joining Primus Partners, he served as director (consulting) at Deloitte India and later founded Meraki Global, where he advised clients across the GCC region. He also served as a colonel in the Indian Army.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay and Harvard Business School, Doifode has worked with both public and private sector organisations on growth strategies, innovation initiatives and organisational transformation programmes.

Welcoming the appointment, Nilaya Varma, co-founder and Group CEO of Primus Partners, said the GCC region is increasingly becoming a global centre for investment, innovation and economic transformation.

"As Primus Partners continues to strengthen its presence in international markets, Mohan's experience in building and scaling consulting engagements across the Middle East will be instrumental in deepening our regional relationships and delivering greater value to clients," Varma said.
