The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos. The proposed AI GCC Hub will be in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex.

“The proposed Supervity AI GCC Hub will act as a launchpad for multinational enterprises to safely experiment, design, deploy, and scale multi agentic AI Employees across finance, procurement, compliance, supply chain, customer operations, and other core business functions,” the release stated.

These AI systems will work under rules set by humans and will follow strict governance and audit standards. This approach is expected to improve productivity, ensure better compliance, and make operations more resilient.

According to the announcement, under the MoU, Supervity AI and the Maharashtra government will work together to set up a dedicated Agentic AI research and development centre, support companies in adopting AI-led operating models, and build frameworks that meet global regulatory standards. The partnership will also focus on developing a strong ecosystem of AI talent, solution providers, and enterprise users.

A key part of the initiative is talent development. The Maharashtra government will support training programmes aimed at preparing up to 25,000 AI engineers over time. These engineers will be trained with industry-specific skills to support AI-driven business operations. In addition, Supervity plans to set up four industry-focused AI GCC spoke centres in different parts of Maharashtra. These centres will tap into talent from Tier-2 cities while maintaining global standards.

The state is also exploring ways to gradually introduce AI-led operating models across 48 government departments, with support from technology partners like Supervity AI.

Traditional GBS and GCC models were designed for scale through human effort, whereas the next decade demands scale through AI execution with strong governance. This partnership with the Government of Maharashtra establishes a global reference point for AI-first operations, starting from Mumbai.”
