In a post on X, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman extended birthday wishes to PM Modi, praising him for his 'unwavering commitment' towards India's progress and people's welfare.
"On his birthday wishing PM @narendramodi ji a long healthy life to continue his service to our nation. His unwavering commitment to put India’s interest above all else is recognised by our people, who bless him. His leadership has provided stability, vision and progress for all Indians," Sitharaman wrote.
Union commerce minister Piyush Goyal was the first among the ministers to extend birthday wishes to PM Modi on X.
“On behalf of 140 crore countrymen, I extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Honourable Prime Minister @NarendraModi ji on his birthday. May God grant him a long life and good health so that he can serve India and its people for decades to come,” Goyal wrote.
In his long birthday note, Goyal also praised the Prime Minister for his five decades of public service, with his focus on India’s self-reliance and economy boost.
“From a humble worker to India’s illustrious Prime Minister, your entire life has been dedicated to serving the poor, youth, farmers, and women. Through numerous welfare initiatives such as providing food to every household, clean water, better healthcare facilities, and housing schemes, you have tirelessly worked to uphold the principle of serving the people as serving the divine, making relentless efforts to brighten the lives of every Indian,” he added.
He applauded PM Modi’s focus on preserving the nation’s cultural heritage and security by both sacred site reconstruction and by taking decisions such as Operation Sindoor.
“By reconstructing our sacred sites, such as the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and Ujjain’s Mahakal Lok, you have preserved India’s cultural heritage, filling all countrymen with pride. As a decisive leader, you have protected India’s dignity by taking bold decisions like Operation Sindoor, Air Strike, and Surgical Strike, delivering a befitting response to the nation’s enemies, thereby earning India recognition as a strong nation on the global stage,” he wrote.
He called it as his ‘privilege to learn, work’ with PM Modi as the government focuses on ‘building a developed India.’
“Your mantras of Make In India, Startup India, and self-reliance have led to unprecedented progress in the country’s economy. The Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) signed with several developed nations in recent years have opened new doors of opportunity for trade and industry in India, strengthening the vision of a self-reliant India. It has been my privilege to learn, work, and contribute to our goal of building a developed India under your leadership, guidance, and visionary thinking. For this, I am deeply grateful to you. I have full confidence that in the Amrit Kaal, this nation will emerge as a developed India,” Goyal added.
Similarly, the next in line of ministers who wished PM Modi was Union electronics and IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, who commended PM Modi’s contribution to giving the nation a ‘new energy and direction.’
“Heartfelt greetings to the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji on his birthday, who has given India a new direction, new inspiration, and new energy. By following the path shown by you, India will prosper, become empowered, and fulfil the resolve of becoming a developed nation by 2047.”
Union Minister of Consumer Affairs also penned a series of posts on X to wish PM Narendra Modi. Joshi even posted a video talking about the contributions of PM Modi to the nation.
“Heartfelt birthday wishes to our Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi ji! Your visionary leadership, unwavering commitment and disciplined approach have left an indelible mark on our nation’s progress. Your tireless service continues to inspire millions across the country. May you be blessed with robust health and enduring strength to keep guiding Bharat towards greater glory and self-reliance,” Joshi wrote in his post on X.
Joshi congratulated him on completing 11 years as Prime Minister, describing him as a leader who inspired patriotism and greater civic participation among citizens.
“You have ignited the lamp of patriotism in the heart of every citizen and awakened a resolve for active participation in nation-building. Under your leadership, the dream of a developed India by 2047 has today become the collective resolve of every citizen. May God grant you excellent health and a long life, so that you continue to serve Mother India with the same dedication and energy in the coming years,” he said in a video post.
