Hosted at the iconic The Dorchester Hotel, the event marked the launch of Mishra’s specially designed bottle—featuring a luminous nightscape of blooming flowers and spirited animals, symbolising abundance and new beginnings. The evening also celebrated actor and producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas in her role as Global Ambassador for the brand, joined by a diverse gathering of entrepreneurs, designers, models, and cultural leaders.

Priyanka wore a striking ruby red gown from Rahul Mishra Couture’s 'Aura' collection—a saree-inspired, one-shoulder silhouette that pays homage to traditional Indian draping while embracing contemporary elegance. Crafted by 14 artisans over 2,700 hours at Mishra’s Noida atelier, the piece showcased sculptural detailing with thread, rhinestones, and sequins that traced the body like brushstrokes, reflecting light and form as a living artwork.

The evening’s cocktails were thoughtfully curated by Johnnie Walker Blue Label, inspired by Mishra’s storytelling approach to design. “I feel profound gratitude to Johnnie Walker Blue Label and everyone who brought this vision to life. From the bottle design to the atmosphere at The Dorchester—space, sound, and taste—it was moving to see our craft come alive,” said Mishra “This night reminded me that craft is collective, and during India’s festive season, celebration is its most honest expression.”

For Priyanka Chopra Jonas, the Indian festive season is filled with warmth, joy, and community. “Celebrating Rahul’s vision with Johnnie Walker Blue Label was a beautiful convergence of craft and culture—it became a shared experience. Rahul’s work has always gone beyond fashion. It’s cultural, emotional, and meaningful. Sharing that here in London made the evening truly special,” she said.

The celebration continued in New Delhi, at the residence of British High Commissioner Lindy Cameron on October 18, with Diageo’s interim Global CEO Nik Jhangiani, Johnnie Walker master blender Emma Walker, Diageo Global CMO Cristina Diezhandino, and Diageo India CEO Praveen Someshwar along with the city’s glitterati in attendance. “Bringing together the magic of Blue Label and the creative genius of Rahul Mishra has been extraordinary. With the India-UK Free Trade Agreement potentially including Scotch whisky, this marks a pivotal moment,” said Jhangiani. “While one in every two bottles of whisky sold globally is sold in India, only 2–3% is Scotch. That presents a tremendous opportunity. Rahul’s blend of creativity and respect for tradition mirrors our own at Johnnie Walker.”

This collaboration between Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Rahul Mishra transcends the boundaries of fashion and fine spirits making it a testament to the power of storytelling through craft. From London to New Delhi, the partnership celebrated the richness of Indian heritage, reimagined through a global lens.
