Budget 2022: GDP’s 2-year Setback
The Indian economy’s growth of 9.2% in FY22 comes on the back of a low base effect due to a 7.3% contraction in FY21. In real terms, 2022 GDP will be barely 1.3% higher than that of FY20–a loss of two years.
