Addressing participants at the two-day event held at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC), Parikh said that the surge in retail participation and the emergence of new trading hubs across tier 2 and tier 3 cities have fundamentally transformed India’s derivatives landscape.

“Traders must continuously evolve their strategies, risk frameworks, and mindset to stay relevant in an increasingly dynamic environment,” Parikh said. He added that structured learning and practical market wisdom are becoming indispensable as the market matures.

“The theme for IOC 7.0 – ‘Evolve’ reflects the reality of today’s markets… With this edition, our focus was not just scale, but depth of meaningful learning, real conversations, and practical market wisdom. As India’s trading community matures, evolving responsibly and sustainably becomes essential. The energy and engagement at IOC 7.0 reaffirm that the future of trading in India is learning-led,” Parikh said.

The 7th edition of IOC 7.0 saw strong participation, recording over 11,500 registrations from more than 450 cities. The two-day event featured sessions led by over 40 market experts, professional traders, and industry practitioners, covering topics such as options strategies, trading psychology, and disciplined risk management.

According to Jainam Broking, women traders accounted for 12.2% of total registrations based on consolidated two-day data, pointing to increasing inclusivity within India’s trading ecosystem. The conclave also witnessed participation from brokers, fintech platforms, analytics providers, and other ecosystem partners.

With growing retail interest and structural shifts in the derivatives segment, Jainam Broking said it remains committed to expanding the Indian Options Conclave as a structured learning platform aimed at strengthening traders’ understanding of markets and improving decision-making frameworks.
