Delayered Coca-Cola Company embraces agility
The biggest lesson that the Covid-19 pandemic has taught corporations world over is the importance of being agile and nimble, and The Coca-Cola Company isn’t an exception. The world’s largest beverage maker in the past year has significantly delayered its business. “Globally there were 24 business units and three group offices, we have reduced it to nine. Therefore, there is faster decision-making today,” says Sanket Ray, president (India and Southwest Asia), The Coca-Cola Company.
Coca-Cola, claims Ray, has also adopted a collaborative work culture. "We have hired talent which is comfortable to work in an environment where there is no power and bureaucracy, but has flat collaborative teams,” says Ray.
