Fortune India TheNext500 awards: Find out this year’s leading stars, rising stars, sectoral stars
Fortune India comes out annually with the well-known Fortune 500 list of India’s Largest Companies. The Next 500 list covers the next 500 emerging Indian companies. This is based entirely on their financial results. The process does not involve any outside jury since it is based entirely on quantitative factors. This year’s list includes emerging Indian companies with revenues between Rs 800 crore to Rs 2,800 crore.
This time's sectoral stars included Timken India in Auto Ancillaries; Devyani International (FMCG), Balaji Amines (Chemicals), Siyaram Silk Mills (Textiles), Panacea Biotec (Pharma), Sastasundar Ventures (NBFCs), GMM Pfaudler (Engineering), Tulsyan NEC (Metals), Infibeam Avenues (IT Services) and KCP (Cement). The list of rising stars included five companies -- GMM Pfaudler, Transcorp International, HEG, PVR, and IRCTC. Meghmani Organics, GE Power India, and Prince Pipes & Fittings found their names in the list of leading stars.
