India's drone industry grew from ₹60 crore to ₹400 crore in a year: Scindia
A non-existent industry in India until a year ago, the country's drone industry today has the ability to power itself to become the global drone hub by 2030, says Jyotiraditya Scindia, minister of civil aviation and steel. Addressing Fortune India’s 40 Under 40 Awards event, Scindia explains how a combination of effective policy making, incentives and creation of demand resulted in the Indian drone industry growing from ₹60 crore to ₹400 crore in a year.
