Inside the issue: January 2020
The year 2019 was a big one for Reliance Industries (RIL). It became the first Indian company with a market cap of over ₹10 lakh crore, and it toppled Indian Oil Corporation to become the No. 1 company on the Fortune India 500 list. India’s richest man and the billionaire chairman of the company Mukesh Ambani also unveiled RIL’s ambitious triple play strategy in 2019.
This time, Ambani’s vision for RIL is that one big development in the world of business and economy which we like to call the ‘Move of the Year’. Deputy editor T. Surendar and assistant editor Neha Bothra tell us more about it and other stories from the first edition of the year.
