Ahead of the iPhone 17 launch, Apple has announced its fourth retail store in India, in Pune. The store, set to open in Koregaon Park on September 4 at 1 PM, signals that the iPhone 17 launch will happen as expected on September 9.

The new store announcement comes just days after the company shared that another showroom was coming up in Bengaluru next month. The strategic placement of the stores signals that the company is focussed on capitalising on the demand from south India where there are many IT hubs with a massive population of young consumers for not just the iPhones, but also other Apple products.

“At Apple Hebbal and Apple Koregaon Park, customers will be able to explore Apple’s latest product lineup, experience new features, and receive expert support from team members such as specialists, creatives, geniuses, and dedicated business teams,” the company stated.

Visitors will be able to attend the company’s ‘Today at Apple’ sessions at these new stores. This helps customers understand their devices and learn the needed skills, including photography, music, art, or coding, through free events led by Apple Creatives.

When asked about future store expansions, an Apple spokesperson told Fortune India that as of now, there are no other stores in pipeline in the country for the tech giant.

The company also recently launched its Apple Store app, earlier this year. This emphasises that Apple remains bullish on the India market despite the worries that loom due to U.S. president Donald Trump’s tariff comments.

For now, Apple is gearing up for its iPhone 17 launch event in September. This will entail the Cupertino-based giant showcasing its latest Apple products, aside from iPhone 17, including the Watch, VisionPro, and HomePod. This will be the first set of products launched since Apple’s biggest overhaul to its operating system was announced earlier in June this year.
