Adani Airport Holdings , India’s largest operator of public-private airports, said on Thursday that it has signed a strategic deal with AIONOS, an InterGlobe Enterprises company, to implement a multilingual, omnichannel agent AI solution that would enhance the conventional passenger help desk experience.
Through this collaboration, AIONOS will bring its proprietary Agentic AI platform, IntelliMate, to deliver domain-led Conversational AI and automation, enabling Adani Airports to engage with customers and employees across multiple touchpoints—voice, chat, web, and mobile—in their preferred languages.
The AI-powered solution will function as a 24/7 intelligent concierge, instantly assisting travellers with flight updates, gate information, baggage status, directions, and airport services in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and regional dialects. Through seamless coordination across channels, the platform will deliver consistent, context-aware experiences, greatly improve passenger satisfaction and reduce service turnaround times. This AI-driven system aims to enhance customer experience, streamline support operations, and foster inclusivity across Adani’s extensive airport network.
“The collaboration with AIONOS marks a significant step in delivering seamless and personalised journeys for travellers across our airports. Together with in-house offerings such as aviio, Adani OneApp and Airport-in-a-Box, we are building a connected ecosystem that enhances efficiency, fosters inclusivity, and sets new benchmarks for smart, sustainable and future-ready airports in India,” said Arun Bansal, Chief Executive Officer, AAHL, in a statement.

As India’s growth story gains momentum and the number of billionaires rises, the country’s luxury market is seeing a boom like never before, with the taste for luxury moving beyond the metros. From high-end watches and jewellery to lavish residences and luxurious holidays, Indians are splurging like never before. Storied luxury brands are rushing in to satiate this demand, often roping in Indian celebs as ambassadors.
In August, Adani Digital Labs, the technology arm of Adani Airports Holdings Limited—India’s largest private airport operator—said it has launched a revamped digital app, the Adani OneApp, which will host a slew of services travellers can avail of while using AAHL-operated airports.
The services include Adani Rewards, a loyalty programme that spans food and beverage, retail, car parking, duty-free shopping, and meet and greet services. The digital platform will also provide a seamless experience for lounge access, including pre-booking lounges, checking card eligibility, and hassle-free entry. “This marks the first phase of a broader strategy to deliver an exclusive digital-first experience to passengers,” Srushti Adani, director, Adani Digital Labs, had said in a statement.
Some of the additional services include browsing and shopping from an extensive catalogue of food and beverage, duty-free, and retail stores, providing convenient airport services such as delivery at gate, multi-cart orders, group orders for duty-free, and park and fly for seamless parking, live flight status tracking and instant notifications, and easy access to high-speed airport Wi-Fi and essential travel information.
