Adani Mundra Airport launches scheduled flight operations, expands connectivity across eight cities

Adani Mundra Airport on Tuesday launched its first scheduled flight operations with services connecting Mundra to Mumbai and Goa, marking a significant step in strengthening regional connectivity and supporting economic activity in the Kutch region.
The services are being operated in partnership with Star Air, which has commenced operations from the newly developed terminal with eight flight routes aimed at improving access for business, trade, logistics, and tourism.
Apart from Mumbai and Goa, Star Air will connect Mundra with Hindon, Surat, Belagavi, Bengaluru, Kolhapur, and Nanded, creating faster travel links and reducing transit time across key commercial centres.
According to the company, the expanded air connectivity is expected to strengthen Mundra’s position as an integrated multimodal logistics and business hub anchored by port, airport and industrial infrastructure.
The airport has been developed with a 1,900-metre runway capable of handling a range of passenger and cargo aircraft. The terminal includes passenger facilities such as parking areas, multiple check-in counters, lounges, and a food court, along with accessibility features, including wheelchair support and dedicated drop-off zones.
The new air services are expected to complement operations at Mundra Port and Mundra Special Economic Zone (SEZ), supporting faster movement of people and improving integration with domestic and global supply chains.
According to the release, the airport will enable Adani Group to create a powerful synergy between its port and aviation operations and is poised to become a vital catalyst, driving the future of Kutch’s trade, industry, and tourism to new heights.

The development builds on the group’s broader airport portfolio, which includes operations across multiple airports in India, including Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Thiruvananthapuram, Mangaluru, and Guwahati.
