Bharti Airtel on Wednesday reported a 33.5% decline in consolidated net profit to ₹7,325 crore for the January-March quarter of FY26.

The company's consolidated profit, attributed to the owners of the parent, was ₹11,021.8 crore in the year-ago period.

The revenue from operations for India's second-largest telecom company surged 15.6% to ₹55,383.2 crore in Q4 FY26 from ₹47,876.2 crore a year ago.

Sequentially, its profit and revenue rose 10.4% and 2.5%, respectively.

Airtel's India revenue grew 7.7% to ₹39,566 crore on a year-on-year basis.

The company's India mobile revenue recorded an 8.3% rise, led by higher realisations and an expanding customer base.

Bharti Airtel recorded an ARPU (Average Revenue Per User) of ₹257 during the quarter compared to ₹245 a year ago.

For the full FY26, Airtel’s profit dropped 20.4% to ₹26,695 crore from ₹33,556 crore in FY25.

Its FY26 revenue rose 21.9% to ₹2,10,972.8 crore.

"We ended FY26 on a strong note, demonstrating the power of our diversified portfolio. FY26 was an important year in our journey – we crossed the 650 million customer mark, launched our telco-grade sovereign cloud, received RBI approval through our subsidiary to commence the lending business, and accelerated the expansion of our data centre footprint,” Executive Vice Chairman Gopal Vittal said.
