The festival of colours is lighting up not just India but far-off corners of the world with unmatched energy. Apple CEO Tim Cook couldn’t resist the festive charm and shared a glimpse of Holi celebrations, beautifully captured by an Indian CEO.

“Happy Holi to all those celebrating! May it be as joyous and fun as Kushagra Tiwari’s beautiful #ShotOniPhone photo,” Cook wrote on X.

Netizens had mixed reactions to the Apple CEO’s post.

“Wishing everyone a very Happy Holi! May this festival of colours fill your life with joy, prosperity, and love. Let’s celebrate the triumph of good over evil with vibrant hues and sweet moments,” wrote one user.

Reportedly, Apple is working on a new feature that will enable earbuds to live-translate real-time conversations into different languages. The much-awaited live-translation feature is set to roll out later this year. Tightly linked to iOS 19, Apple’s next big mobile update, this upgrade could turn AirPods into real-time interpreters, breaking language barriers.

Reports suggest that alongside iOS 19 — which is set to be the biggest iPhone software revamp ever — macOS is also getting a sleek redesign to meet the needs of a new generation. Last year, the company turned the second-gen AirPods into a mini health assistant, rolling out features that support hearing wellness.

Recently, it was reported that Apple is ramping up hiring for new stores across Delhi-NCR, Pune, Mumbai and Bengaluru. Cook confirmed plans for four new locations, marking a major retail push in one of Apple’s fastest-growing markets. In a LinkedIn post, Apple store leader John Taffe highlighted the company’s expansion into key cities.

Apple just shook up the tech world with a fresh wave of powerhouse devices. Last week, the company unveiled the M3-fuelled iPad Air and the A16-powered 11th-gen iPad. The latest addition is the MacBook Air, now supercharged with the M4 chip in both 13-inch and 15-inch models.

Indian budget smartphone brand Redmi also joined the Holi celebrations, adding some festive cheer on X. “Here's to a colourful and joyful Holi! Happy Holi from Xiaomi India. #HappyHoli,” Redmi India posted on X.

Similarly, vivo India embraced the Holi spirit, sharing a 39-second video on the importance of colours in the festival.

“Holi isn’t just about the colours; it’s the laughter of family, the playful splashes, and the voices that fill the air with joy. This year, let’s celebrate not just with colours, but with the sounds of togetherness that make Holi unforgettable,” vivo India shared on X.
