British bicycle stalwart Muddyfox has officially made its entry into the Indian market, unveiling 18 bike models across multiple segments through a partnership with Ananta Ventures, a leading distribution firm in the country.

Under the agreement, Ananta Ventures — known for its homegrown bicycle brands Roam and Kylon and a strong dealer network — will serve as Muddyfox’s exclusive distributor in India.

“Partnering with Ananta Ventures allows us to establish a solid foundation in India. While our products carry a strong European heritage, this collaboration will help us understand Indian consumers’ needs and adapt our offerings accordingly,” said Sahil Mehrotra, Managing Director of Muddyfox Asia Pacific.

The newly launched range covers mountain, road, and hybrid bikes, along with cycling apparel and accessories. For the initial phase, Muddyfox has imported the bikes as semi-knocked down units, catering to different age groups, including models for women and children.

The brand plans to expand its lineup further based on consumer demand and also intends to introduce a variety of cycling accessories to complement its bikes.

Founded in the mid-1980s, Muddyfox is recognized as a pioneering British brand that played a key role in popularizing mountain biking in the UK and Europe. Today, its presence spans Europe, the United States, and Asia.
