Noida-based grain commerce platform Arya.ag has announced the launch of 25 ‘smart farm centres’ across India to bring technology and data intelligence directly to the farmgate. This initiative marks a new chapter in Arya.ag’s mission to build a profitable agri-ecosystem that empowers India’s smallholder farmers to make informed, data-driven decisions, with technology at the core, the company stated.

Arya.ag already runs an agri-commerce network that connects millions of farmers and their organisations with storage, finance, and market linkages. The smart farm centres extend this network into the pre-harvest stage, giving farmers access to technology that simplifies decisions and improves productivity.

“The smart farm centres show what happens when technology innovators, data scientists, and local communities work together. These centres are proof that practical, scalable solutions can emerge from partnerships grounded in the everyday realities of Indian farmers,” Prasanna Rao, Co-founder and CEO, Arya.ag, said.

Managed by a cadre of community-based women leaders, these centres offer IoT-enabled soil diagnostics, hyper-local weather insights, drone imaging, climate insurance, and farmer training. These tools help farmers make better decisions at every stage of cultivation—from sowing and irrigation to harvest planning and financing.

Developed in collaboration with Neoperk, BharatRohan, FarmBridge, Finhaat, Fyllo, and Arya.ag’s Community Value Chain Resource Persons (CVRPs), the smart farm centres demonstrate how partnerships in technology, data analytics, and community trust can drive measurable impact at the farm level. Together, they form a connected intelligence network where every data point strengthens farmer resilience, decision-making, and income stability, the company says.

The Smart Farm Centres are directly integrated into Arya.ag’s broader ecosystem of storage, finance, and markets—creating a transparent and connected value chain from farm to market. It is expected to strengthen income stability, improve risk management, and support long-term growth for smallholders. In the next three years, Arya aims to establish a network comprising 100 smart farm centres.

Arya.ag currently works with over 1,600 FPOs and 800,000+ farmers across India. Its network spans 60% of the country’s districts, covering more than 12,000 warehouses, facilitating grain aggregation worth $3 billion annually, and enabling $1.5 billion in credit for farmers and their organisations.
