South Korean gaming company KRAFTON posted its highest-ever annual revenue in 2025, driven by strong performance of its PUBG franchise and new game launches.
The company reported revenue of KRW 3.3266 trillion (around $2.56 billion or ₹21,250 crore) and operating profit of KRW 1.0544 trillion (around $811 million or ₹6,730 crore) for 2025. Revenue rose KRW 616.8 billion, or 22.8%, from the previous year, marking the first time the company has crossed the KRW 3 trillion mark. Operating profit also remained above KRW 1 trillion.
Mobile remained KRAFTON’s largest business, bringing in KRW 1.7407 trillion (about $1.34 billion or ₹11,110 crore). PC games generated KRW 1.1846 trillion (about $912 million or ₹7,560 crore) while console and other segments contributed KRW 42.8 billion and KRW 358.5 billion respectively.
On PC, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS delivered its highest annual revenue, rising 16% year-on-year. “User engagement and traffic increased, as cultural elements were incorporated into gameplay via major collaborations with global artists and luxury brands, alongside diversified game modes. The November collaboration with luxury automaker Porsche particularly delivered the strongest performance among all supercar collaborations in PUBG history.”
New titles also contributed to growth. The company said inZOI and MIMESIS each crossed one million units sold after their launches in March and October 2025.
Mobile titles PUBG MOBILE and BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) continued to expand their paying user base. Compared with 2024, the number of paying users rose 5% for PUBG MOBILE and 27% for BGMI. “BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) also maintained stable performance, solidifying its position as a national game through India-exclusive skins, customized premium items, and strategic partnerships with well-known local brands,” the statement said.
Revenue from other segments jumped 963% year-on-year, with the company reasoning the consolidation of ADK Group and Neptune.
For the October–December quarter, revenue stood at KRW 919.7 billion (around $708 million or ₹5,860 crore). Operating profit for the quarter came in at KRW 2.4 billion (around $1.8 million or ₹15 crore), after factoring in a one-time expense of KRW 81.6 billion linked to a joint labour welfare fund tied to the company’s headquarters relocation.
KRAFTON said it will focus on growing its existing game franchises, especially PUBG, as part of its 2026 plan. The company is working on upgrading the game with improvements such as a shift to Unreal Engine 5, new game modes and more user-generated content. It is also planning to expand the PUBG universe through new titles, including Black Budget, PUBG: BLINDSPOT and Valor.
The company is also looking to build new game franchises by investing in fresh titles and exploring acquisitions. KRAFTON said it currently has 15 projects under development and plans to use artificial intelligence tools to improve game development and live services. It is also exploring opportunities outside gaming, including animation partnerships through ADK and expanding advertising-led opportunities in India through Neptune.
