Metropolis Healthcare Ltd on Wednesday reported a 74% rise in consolidated profit after tax at ₹50.96 crore in March quarter on the back of robust demand and operational efficiency drive.
The company had posted a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of ₹29.23 crore in the corresponding quarter previous fiscal year, Metropolis Healthcare Ltd said in a statement.
Consolidated revenue from operations in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year stood at ₹424.68 crore as compared to ₹345.29 crore in the year-ago period.
Total expenses in the quarter under review were higher at ₹363.19 crore as compared to ₹316.22 crore in the year-ago period, the company said.
The board has approved a second dividend of Re 1 per share for the 2025-26 financial year, it added.
"In Q4FY26, Metropolis delivered robust growth, with revenue increasing 23% YoY, while expanding our network beyond 5,000 centres across India," Metropolis Healthcare Ltd Promoter and Executive Chairperson Ameera Shah said.
Metropolis Healthcare Ltd Managing Director Surendran Chemmenkotil said, "Growth during the year (FY26) was driven by healthy patient volumes, improved mix and stronger realisations, without any price increase in Q4, reflecting the strength of the underlying demand environment."
