Nestlé Business Solutions (NBS), the shared services arm of the Nestlé Group, has chosen Hyderabad as the location for its new Global Capability Center (GCC) in India, marking a further expansion of the consumer goods giant’s global business services network and reinforcing its long term commitment to the country as a talent and technology hub.

The new centre will be established under Nestlé Business Services India Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nestlé Group, in partnership with Genpact. The technology services company will support the centre with its expertise in process intelligence, data, artificial intelligence and automation to help Nestlé simplify, standardise and scale its business services across geographies.

“NBS Hyderabad represents a positive next chapter in our growth journey. As we build stronger capabilities in a market like India, our people, partners and vendors will remain central to this journey,” said Luca Fichera, head of Nestlé Business Solutions.

The Hyderabad GCC will bring together domain expertise, process intelligence, AI, automation and digital operations capabilities to improve performance, resilience and consistency across Nestlé’s global operations.

The company said the facility is expected to play a key role in building future ready capabilities while expanding the range of services delivered through its global business services network.

Fichera said the investment reflects the company’s confidence in India’s talent pool and its ambition to build a more agile, scalable and technology enabled services network.

“This reflects our confidence in India’s talent and capabilities, and our commitment to building a more agile, scalable and technology-enabled services network for Nestlé. Hyderabad was selected for its strong technology ecosystem, robust infrastructure and growing reputation as one of India’s leading global capability destinations,” he said.

He added that Hyderabad’s ecosystem, coupled with Genpact’s expertise, positions the company to deliver greater value, consistency and innovation across its operations.

The partnership also underlines the growing role of artificial intelligence and automation in reshaping global business services, with multinational companies increasingly relying on GCCs in India to support enterprise wide operations.

“This partnership reflects how leading global enterprises are reimagining business services as technology-enabled, data-driven operations,” said Tarun Chopra, Global CPG Business Leader at Genpact.

“By combining Nestlé’s global scale with Genpact’s process intelligence and expertise in data, AI and automation, NBS Hyderabad can become a center designed to drive consistency, agility, and measurable business impact,” he added.

Nestlé said the new centre will support broader services across geographies while strengthening India’s position as an important talent and capability base within the group’s global operations.
