Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) unveiled the production-ready version of the Tata Sierra at the Sierra Brand Day. The new avatar of the SUV will be officially launched on 25 November 2025.

Speaking at the event, Martin Uhlarik, Vice President and Head of Global Design, Tata Motors and Executive Director of Tata Motors Design Tech Centre (TMDTC) said, “The Tata Sierra is much more than a name or a vehicle; it’s a living symbol of Indian ingenuity and aspiration. For many, the Sierra evokes an everlasting longing—a silhouette glimpsed on the horizon, a feeling that lingers long after the journey ends. Today, that memory transforms into a bold vision for the future. With its timeless silhouette and indomitable spirit, the new Sierra pays homage to its roots while fearlessly embracing what lies ahead. Reimagining a legend is not simply an act of nostalgia; it’s a testament to courageous design, innovation, and the desire to create something that resonates across generations. The Sierra stands as living proof that design can honour heritage while daring to shape tomorrow.”

The Sierra’s exterior design is inspired by its iconic three-quarter glasshouse, which has been reimagined using a panoramic roof, flush glazing, and a black-painted roof finisher. The PanoraMax – largest sunroof plus surround view glasshouse, recreates the openness of the original Sierra’s glass canopy.

At the front, the Sierra features the Light Saber, a full-width LED DRL that forms a single, seamless curve across the fascia. The SUV is equipped with R19 alloy wheels, flush door handles, and gloss black cladding.

On the inside, the Sierra has a TheatrePro multi-screen setup, featuring a Horizon View screen layout, offering personalised digital experiences for both driver and passenger. It also integrates with the SonicShaft Soundbar with JBL Black 12-speaker system, combined with Dolby Atmos.

The unveiling of the SUV included a showcase of exclusive collaborations with some of the leading brands, such as The Delhi Watch Company and Nappa Dori, along with a known Hip-Hop artist, DIVINE.
