Gurugram-based home services major Urban Company (formerly UrbanClap) on Friday reported a consolidated net loss of ₹21.26 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025. While the company moved to a loss compared to a profit of ₹231.84 crore in the year-ago period—which was bolstered by one-time gains—the results show a sequential recovery from the ₹59.33 crore loss reported in Q2 FY26.

The company’s top line demonstrated robust growth, with revenue from operations surging 33% year-on-year to ₹382.68 crore, up from ₹287.92 crore in Q3 FY25. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹418.78 crore.

Scaling up InstaHelp

The financial results highlight a "burn-to-scale" approach. The core India consumer services (excluding InstaHelp) remains the company’s primary engine, contributing ₹264.54 crore in revenue (up 25.5% YoY) and delivering a healthy adjusted EBITDA profit of ₹44 crore.

In contrast, the newly launched InstaHelp—a 15-minute housekeeping service—recorded an adjusted EBITDA loss of ₹60.91 crore. However, the earnings report card point towards a silver lining: despite the high investment, the loss per order in this vertical nearly halved sequentially, dropping from ₹760 in Q2 to ₹381 in Q3 as the service gains micro-market density.
