Quick commerce platform Zepto’s 22-year-old co-founders, Kaivalya Vohra and Aadit Palicha, have topped the inaugural Avendus Wealth Hurun India Uth Series 2025 Under-30 list. The ranking, released on Thursday, features 79 young Indian entrepreneurs making a notable impact on the Indian economy.

The list recognises founders and leaders under the age of 30 who are building high-impact ventures across sectors.

Among them are AVR Shree Smaran of AVR Swarna Mahal Jewellers, Arjun Deshpande of Generic Aadhaar, Shiva Sankeshwar of Vijayanand Travels, Rahul Rawat of space tech firm Digantara, and Mihir Menda of RMZ Boston.

Ujjwal Sukheja, Saran S, and Aniket Shah, co-founders of another rapid delivery app, Swish, also made the cut. This reflects the continuing investor interest in 10-minute commerce despite its operational challenges.

Overall, only six women entrepreneurs were featured, including Devanshi Kejriwal, Radhika Ambani, Ananya Birla, Vrushali Prasade, and Romita Mazumdar. Their work spans AI healthcare, edtech, pharma, microfinance, marketing technology, and beauty.

Bengaluru emerged as the leading hub for Under-30-led companies, hosting 14 ventures from the list, followed by Mumbai with 10 and Gurugram with 7.

Software Products & Services is the most represented sector on the list, with 21 entrepreneurs, featuring ventures like Perplexity, Zupee, and Pixis. Consumer Goods ranks next with 12 entrepreneurs, followed by Financial Services with 9 leaders from firms such as BharatPe and Svatantra Microfin.

The Uth Series is the first edition by Avendus Wealth and Hurun India that aims to highlight young business leaders across age brackets.

According to the report, the featured entrepreneurs have together raised over $5 billion in equity funding and $270 million in startup debt. Their ventures have collectively generated more than 64,000 jobs. Beyond scale and valuations, the cohort is noted for building ventures that focus on social relevance, innovation, and sustainable growth.
